  • View student performance by various student groups, including gender, race/ethnicity, family income (based on eligibility for the National School Lunch Program), students with disabilities (SD), and English language learners (ELL).
  • Move the cursor over data points to see more detail.
  • Click "Chart Options" below the figures to view different types of charts or change the format and layout of the existing chart.
  • When viewing average score figures as a bar chart, use the drop down menu to show data for each group. When viewing average score figures as a line chart, click on a group within the legend to show detailed information about its performance.
  • When viewing the achievement level or percentile figures, use the drop down menu to show data for each group.

 Compared to 2009, the average reading score was higher in 2011 for female students in Los Angeles and was lower for male students in the District of Columbia (DCPS).

Beginning in 2009, results for charter schools are excluded from the TUDA results if they are not included in the school district’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) report to the U.S. Department of Education.
