The percentage of graduates taking AP U.S. history was
higher in 2009 than in 1990 for all graduates and was higher
for White, Hispanic, and Asian/Pacific Islander graduates. There was no significant change for Black graduates. In 2009, the percentage of Asian/Pacific Islander graduates who took AP U.S. history was higher than the percentages of White, Black, and Hispanic graduates.
