Classroom Context: Activities with Computers

As part of the 2010 U.S. history assessment, fourth-grade teachers were asked about the extent to which they had students use computers to perform various tasks. The percentage of students whose teachers responded in each category are shown below.

Grade 12

Approximately 34 percent of fourth-graders had teachers who asked them to locate and retrieve information through the Internet for U.S. history to at least a moderate extent.
