Findings

  • Average scores for male students were higher in 2007 than in previous assessments.
  • Average scores for female students were higher in 2007 than in 2003 but not significantly different from 2005.

View data on score gaps between male and female students in each district: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, District of Columbia, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Diego.
