GPA Inceases for All Graduates

Course Types
There has been an increase in average GPA in core courses from 2.47 in 1990 to 2.77 in 2005. This increase of about a third of a letter grade is similar to the increase seen for both other other academic courses and other courses. In 2005, graduates earned lower GPAs in the core courses than in other academic courses, and earned the highest GPAs in other courses.
