Highest Average GPA in Core Subjects is in Social Studies; GPA Gains Seen in All Subjects

Race/Ethnicity
Graduates of all racial/ethnic groups earned higher GPAs in core subjects in 2005 than in 1990. In all core subjects, Asian/Pacific Islanders earned the highest GPAs and White graduates had higher GPAs than their Black and Hispanic counterparts.
